Well done to SciFiWire for finding this image - how Twilight should have ended. I'd have paid good money to see the next minute of film.

Slashfilm has the first official photo from Avatar - yes it's the same as above, but bigger and better, plus they've written more words due to a) being better informed, and b) not seeing this at 3am and barely keeping their eyes open. So go there to see it properly and read more about the movie, which has sounded awesome for a while, and now finally is starting to look it too.

Yeah OK, we're a little behind the times with these, but we were in early with the blurry Scarlett Johansson pics, so it all balances out. I think these are all the pictures that have been released for Iron Man 2 thus far - curse you Favreau and your sensible slow release of information. Comic-Con's underway at the moment and more information should be forthcoming on...Saturday, I think.

I'm still not sure where I stand on this movie - it's got potential, being based on a pre-existing concept with a definite style to it, but not particularly hampered by any plot or even hardcore fans, so it could go the Pirates of the Caribbean route. At the same time I just feel like it could end up being an over-camped load of rubbish. These new posters don't really swing me either way, as they look kinda like perfume adverts rather than an action-heavy movie. I don't really see why the title needs the "The Sands of Time" addition either, but that's more just my own annoyance due to running a website with limited enough screen real estate at the best of times, and having long film titles is just annoying. I'm clearly in a cynical mood today...

Not strictly movie-related, of course, but given our recent TV-based episode, it at least loosely qualifies. Not a fan of the bow tie, personally, but I'm willing to wait and see how it all works in the actual show.

This isn't real, in case anyone starts wondering. Well, I mean it's REAL, in that you're looking at an actual thing, but it's not him actually wearing the suit on set, some cunning genius has just knocked it up using photoshop or similar. Still, pretty good work...

The first pictures have been released of Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow - I say "released", more "captured", or more accurately "screen grabbed by the Marvel Movies group on Facebook". Still, you can make out...that her costume's black and she's got red hair, which is a combination I'm fairly happy with thus far. In related news, I find it very hard to type the word "widow", having a desperate desire to hit the keys for "windows" instead. Yeah, yeah, I'm a geek.
